Dear ADMA Members:
Welcome to the Arizona Direct Marketing Association Millennium Directory. This edition commemorates the 20th
anniversary of our organization. In these pages you
ll find local suppliers, vendors and experts from every facet of the
direct marketing industry. Also, our membership includes representatives from a variety of companies region-wide
that utilize direct marketing tools to promote their products and services. So, whether you are a vendor looking for
potential customers or a client searching for companies to bid on your business, use the ADMA Directory as your
first source of information.
New to the ADMA Directory this year is our CD-ROM version. You
ll find it inserted inside the back cover. This
version will allow you to sort, search, update and communicate easier with our membership. I encourage you to utilize
this product to network and build cross-selling opportunities.
As we look to continuously maximize our organization
s resources, we must also ensure that we are fully serving the
needs of our membership and our community. If the CD-ROM version of the ADMA Directory is widely accepted,
then we may avoid the expense of a printed version and convert completely to a digital format in the future. Look to
ADMA
s web site (www.azdma.org) for updates, corrections and changes to the directory. And, feel free to provide
any feedback to any board member on how to make our directory more user-friendly.
Once again, on behalf of the Board of Directors, I
d like to welcome you to ADMA
s 20th Anniversary celebration and
promise you an action-packed, educational and entertaining year!
Sincerely,
ADMA
s Mission
The Arizona Direct Marketing Association exists to promote and advance the effectiveness
and quality of direct marketing, in all its forms, throughout Arizona and the Southwest.
It is our task to ensure that our industry consistently maintains the highest degree of
professionalism and ethical standards, both in the creation and production of DM
promotions, and in relations between clients and vendors.
In addition, we work both inside and outside the industry to increase awareness about direct
marketing and its practitioners - through activities, events, education and community
involvement.
In 1979, Otto Meyer, Bob Hanford, Al White and Ruth Shea established the Phoenix Direct
Marketing Club with just 35 members. ADMA has grown ten-fold since then, as new
businesses and new DM practitioners continue to flock to our state. We look forward to
adding your name to our roster!
